Dear Senator/Representative

This communication is in response to the existence of SB-69 and SB-119. I Have Read Them! My comments are brief.

Nevada is one of the few “Freedom of Health Care Choice” states in America, and every time the legislature goes into session this God given right to natural healing and comfort comes under attempted manipulation fueled by paid lobbyists, pharmaceutical companies, cosmetic repair whiz-kids and other money-driven, self-serving “disease management for profit” interests.

It is my choice whether or not I trust my health care choice to Allopathic doctors, Homeopathic doctors, Naturopathic doctors, witch doctors, or gurus, not yours.

Homeopathy/Natural medicine dates back a thousand years and it works as well now as it did then. Allopathic medicine sports a questionable track record in its short history of 100 years which makes it the real alternative to health care, healing and health education.

Protecting citizens is a transparent excuse for supporting SB-69 and SB-119 as your reasoning to restrict, license and control every form of comfort producing, stress relieving health and healing modality will ultimately send residents to other states or countries. SB69 will destroy the huge influx of people seeking health care choice by coming here for treatment, staying in Nevada’s hotels, resorts, eating in our restaurants and participation in other Nevada offerings. They pay from their own pockets the expenses related to their healing and natural health information which enhances the state of Nevada sales taxes, so how could you possibly consider labeling these Homeopathic/Natural healers ‘Alternative?” If you do not care about the rights of the citizens to openly make their choice of health care, then at least focus on revenue enhancement for the state Nevada from visitors and vote down SB-69 and SB-119 and stop trying to protect me from me.

In the next election, enhancement of your personal “position,” “campaign receipts,” parties and favors at the expense of Nevadans will assuredly be remembered by the groundswell of Nevada citizens fast becoming focused on your present legislative actions. The ranks of enlightened voters are growing exponentially. The process of kissing babies while campaigning, only to steal their lollipops once elected, has destroyed the trust.

Please respond to my thoughts with your personal reasoning’s and intent rather than what you have been told by paid lobbyists.
